Now why would you want to leave if you're working on the next best thing? <_< And why did you join to leave shortly after...

I've not jumped on the bandwagon, so I can't leave something I haven't joined?

I've not jumped on the bandwagon, so I can't leave something I haven't joined? I meant Drew Karpashgaskhgsakljg. He joined back not so long time ago only to leave shortly after. BioWare is probably a mess to work at currently. Damn English and "you passive".

My bad Intonation is hard when it's just written text Either way, I'm pretty sure it's clear now that I'm quite pessimistic about this game lol

My bad Intonation is hard when it's just written text Either way, I'm pretty sure it's clear now that I'm quite pessimistic about this game lol The old BioWare is gone. Unless they do some pretty fundamental changes in how they develop games, this is going to be another failure. My expectations are pretty low but who knows, it might end up being an enjoyable game.

My expectations can be compared to the bottom of the Mariana Trench I'm also getting more and more inclined these to hold a permanent grudge against things, so they've lost me already.

The stream is now ongoing.
So apparently you can play it solo if you want so.
Hmhm.... Looks like a Destiny clone.

Yeah, but I'm guessing solo means solo. No squad to help you out, which will probably make the whole thing really difficult. If it's like playing ME3 multiplayer solo. I tried that a few times. I suck! lol
What's funny is that apparently every will be experiencing day/night at the same time. Does that mean that if you're playing the game with people from another continent you'll always be playing during the same in game time of day?
Either way... they've definitely not gone out of their way to convince me to play this game. Oh well...

Either way... they've definitely not gone out of their way to convince me to play this game. Oh well... I actually played ME3 MP a lot in solo... SWTOR now has solo modes for pretty much every flashpoint and stuff like that (so it's likely more solo friendly than Anthem will be - bit ironic since it's an MMO) but I used to do hard mode flashpoints (meant for four players, with proper gear) with my bro duo. That was challenging but doable. I pretty much play solo in multiplayer games.
SWTOR might be better single player game than Anthem... Story wise too.
Gameplay looks pretty generic and they haven't managed to sell me the story part of that game. I do prefer proper single player games and at the moment Squadron 42 looks much more interesting. Story driven, great casting and looks like the story is going to be interesting enough too.

I did played ME3 MP solo for a bit, but it was just an exercise in frustration for me. So if playing Anthem solo is going to be anything like that... I'd better not spend any money on it.
I also played ME3 times with some other people and I can see it can be fun if you've got some friends to play it with, but at the time we suffered from a lot of connection problems, so that wasn't really helpful. Guessing the fact that people there were people living in 3 different time zones isn't helping there either.
Well, guess tomorrow it's FO76 time on E3... It's also the drawing of the national lottery. I fear both will be disappointing lol

Personally I don't like playing with random people. Especially if those end up being teens who shout weird stuff in voice chat. The problem with this kind of gameplay is that it might be cool few hours and then the interest stops. I really don't know how they plan to advance the story outside the hub. It feels like this might be Destiny, Titanfall and The Division mixed together. Definitely not the typical BioWare game. Or should I say that this doesn't seem to be aimed at those who loved KOTOR & Mass Effect.
Actually, Anthem kinda reminds me of Lost Planet series...
Yeah......
By the way, when I saw the latest sneak peak in SC newsletter I somehow though about Anthem...

There are quite a bit of small gameplay clips and so on now that the release is getting closer. To be honest, things look much worse that I though. Gameplay looks rather generic co-op game with mediocre combat that doesn't seem to feel very satisfying. Doesn't look like there's much depth in the game in terms of story telling. Mostly just radio chatter. Also, if you make a co-op game... the point is to make it really fun. This doesn't look very fun to play. Maybe few hours and the combat probably starts to feel really meh.

Tup: I haven't seen anything of this since that teaser and gameplay reveal. From what you're saying it sounds like Bioware's version of Fallout 76: just as boring.

Tup : I haven't seen anything of this since that teaser and gameplay reveal. From what you're saying it sounds like Bioware's version of Fallout 76: just as boring. It sure looked like a borefest. Just random pew pew pew (bullet sink enemies), picking up stuff (i.e. classic "dandelion fetching"). Might pick it when it hits <10 € after a year. I wonder what will happen to BioWare knowing that this will obviously flop pretty hard.
SWTOR imperial agent story arc alone had ~8 hours of cinematics and conversations (not counting expansions, main planet story arc, side quests...). Not only was that one of the best stories in BioWare game ever. Choices that made real difference too. It doesn't look like story is important at all in Anthem.
