ladyaly : Hmmm... if you're going to reinstall the game maybe you could try backing up your saves to another folder first? Then at least you wouldn't have lost everything. Assuming you can just put the saves back in the savegame folder and continue. You could also try the save where it all went wrong with the newly installed game to see if the problem still exists. Just saw this btw: Another funny little video by ACO's voice actors

Cool screenshots, Tup . I suppose the mercenary business is going quite well for Kassandra, but with all those one night stands her love life is a bit of a disaster. Poor Kassandra Everyone dies... I realised that it's probably a good idea to eliminate all possible threats. Being kind often backfires. Badly.

Hmmm... I still can't bring my Kassandra to just blindly go around and kill everyone. I suppose she should know better by now, but still... I'm sure that by now Kassandra has recruited enough people to occupy several ships.
Played the first of the Lost Tales of Greece now and the second one's in progress. I suppose some people would describe them as "more of the same", but even so they've kept me entertained so far.
I also installed the Assassin's Creed Rebellion game on my phone to see what it's like. A lot of grinding to upgrade heroesI suppose, but nice enough to pass some of those "dead" moments.

GroundSquirrel I guess - if I decide to start the game complete new - I will put 2 or 3 saves in another folder outside the game. I think it is possible to put it in again without a problem. Tup a lot of people die around Kass and some breaking nearly her heart...

ladyaly : I made a backup of my saves as soon as I reached save slot #20. Then I just started with slot #1 again until I reached slot #20 and backed those up to another folder so that I wouldn't overwrite the earlier saves. I currently have 10 folders with backed up saves, so that's 200 saves since I started the game. I haven't tested to see if I could just copy them back to the game's save folder, but I see no reason why it shouldn't. That said I still think they gave us too few slots to save to Some more screenies from my playthrough: Have one of Kassandra stealthily sneaking up on a bandit who appears to be a fussy eater... Just one more detail I like: clearing ears while diving: This guy seemed to have some issues with his olive press
More hunting with Ikaros: Another beautiful sunset:

Nice shots!
I did take a backup from my save games just in case. That reminds me... I never finished Dragon Age: Origins - Awakening DLC because hours and hours of progress thanks to faulty HDD. I had proper backups but not recent enough.

Thanks Tup Hmmm my dual wielding rogue, Caroline, never even started DA Inquisition's The Descent DLC. There was one part which already was a real pain in the ass when I played it with my sword wielding qunari (some cave with hordes of darkspawn and not enough points to save the game). I remember it was the worst period of my burn out at time and when I played it with my qunari that part was so frustrating that at some point I almost couldn't breathe. Still managed to finish it, but never played it with my rogue since I'm afraid that that part is even harder to finish with a dual wielding rogue character. As far as Assassin's Creed Odyssey is concerned I started playing the first part of the Legacy of the First Blade DLC woohoo! Also wishing all of you all the best for 2019

Happy New Year friends Beautiful Sunrise you captured there GroundSquirrel. I will btw do the same with my save folder and start a new game soon. Hopefully without this terrible bug in the end. Also I want to focus on the main quests then and let aside a lot of the side quests --- maybe ;P Not sure if I can manage that

Good luck starting a new playthrough, ladyaly Also the best of luck ignoring all the side quests. I find it almost impossible lol I made lots of progress with the DLC. All the way up to the point where I have to fight the main antagonist. But for some reason a level 59 mercenary (I'm level 60 currently) shows up while I'm dealing with the antagonist's cronies. Strange enough the mercenary doesn't interfere during the fight with the cronies, but as soon as the fight with the antagonist starts he does start interfering which pretty much makes the fight a lost case for me. I'll have to see if I can pay off the bounty, since reloading the last few saves didn't help.

Happy new year! There was something a bit tedious about all DA games. They end up feeling like work. Same with ME:A. The story to combat ratio is probably a bit off. I never found the combat that fun in any of those games. KOTOR1 had better pacing. ME1, ME2 and ME 3 too - well, SWTOR too, funnily enough. Well, this island kinda solved my hide/leather problems for now. Did "raid" one Spartan ship that was rather large one. Swam there and everyone attacked. Technically it was a self protection but now I have four bounty hunters chasing me.

Cool running shot, Tup I suppose it's kinda logical that the games that don't fall in the open world category would have better pacing. Having an immense world/universe that you can explore is a nice thought, but how are you going to fill this world/universe with tasks that don't seem tedious? In ACO it would have been nice to have some more character side quests rather than the countless "fetch/bring/kill/sink ships for me" side quests. But I suppose that's not very realistic. As I understand the amount of voice work done for this game is already massive. Heh I think the hide/leather problem is never really gone. The amount of work you'd have to do to keep upgrading your favourite gear... Pfff. At this point I think I killed more deer than enemies and I kinda feel bad about it too lol I'm really glad they applied this transmogrification system though. Less of a need to kill all those animals for hide/leather. Finished the first part of the DLC btw. I guess I can't really say much about it, but I thought that storywise it was enjoyable. I know some people aren't too pleased with it and I kinda understand why. Still, this was only the first part of that story.

I started finally the game new. Got again caught in the beauty of this world from the start. First I was slightly pissed - didn't get my Add-Ons - always appeared a shop error. Then I did disable the Nvidia and the Steam overlay and enabled the Uplay one - and lookies - it worked suddenly just fine I had enabled them to get the necessary Vid's for this major Bug I encountered - its now known since 04.11.18 - for 2 months. And I got 2 replies for it. This is by far the most worse support I ever did see. Not even Bioware was so bad and unresponsive. There I get/got always a rather fast reaction, mostly a solution.

ladyaly: It still really looks like you got the mother of all bugs. I wonder if there are many others who encountered this one. The lack of response does suck. It would be nice if you at least got regular updates. Even if they're not helping you much. A standard "bla bla we're sorry, but we're still working on it" would at least be something that shows that they haven't forgotten about you at least. If they don't have enough staff to keep track of all those things and respond to people I'm still available for hire heh. It kinda seems like they're juggling too many balls at the moment with the extra Lost Tales content and the DLC episodes. Ambitious. Since I'm pretty much finished with Assassin's Creed Odyssey for now I wonder if I should start a new playthrough or finish my Witcher 3 playthrough first.

Some people in Forums and Steam have mentioned the same or similar bugs, and I agree - they really seem not to be able to properly juggling Cross fingers with the new load the bug is vanished ....

The shop and addons thingies will not work if you do not have uplay overlay enabled. Right from the get go I was wondering why stuff didn't work and that was the reason. I have the uplay version but I do use Steam overlay (for lossless screenshots). Cool running shot, Tup I suppose it's kinda logical that the games that don't fall in the open world category would have better pacing. Having an immense world/universe that you can explore is a nice thought, but how are you going to fill this world/universe with tasks that don't seem tedious? I know some people aren't too pleased with it and I kinda understand why. Still, this was only the first part of that story. It pretty easy to understand why SWTOR had such a massive budget. The VA costs probably where humongous. Many classes, each had unique main storyline and even the minor quests were fully voiced & acted (ME2 style conversations & cinematics). And that is an MMO (which actually works as a great single player game). For that reason Mass Effect: Andromeda was such a disappointment for me. It was rather massive downgrade in that aspect from SWTOR.
