Tup: It's working a lot better now I think I'll stick to English though Btw I think the only thing that I miss is having a bit more context regarding Layla Hassan etc. Guess I'm missing a bit of background there if you haven't played any of the other games before.

There are few recent AC games that I have missed but I don't have a clue either. Nor what is the point. It'sbasically Assassins vs. Templars. Abstergo is led by Templars to advance their goals. Animus project is a part of it but Assasins have been hacking it and using it too. They have been infiltrating Abstergo too. In the original story arc (Desmond's story basically, it ended in AC3 - though that wasn't the third AC game) there was much more backstory. It's also much more complicated thing than fight between two "organisations". I'd guess the goal is to find info about a Piece of Eden. Preferably its location.
Ezio picking a "key" from long dead Altaïr in order to get the Apple of Eden.
Desmond and Jupiter
Desmond and the rest. I think it ended up badly for them all. Judging by the clues from AC:IV, Templars found him and that was it.
Minerva and Juno.

Tup aha - now it worked for me, too. But like GroundSquirrel I'll stick to the english Version Interesting Background Pictures. As far as I understand this game is about the very foundation of the Assassins - the beginning without the organisation. I see *the Cult* ( probably you didn't had an encounter with them yet ) probably as the foundation of the Templar organisation - maybe. GroundSquirrel I try not to do random islands. I go where the quests bring me. With the Fast Travel for Kassandra and the Ship it is awesomly fast and works well - even if I have to bypass a huge distance

Might have to read up on all of it on a wiki or something, but after I finish this game. ladyaly. Yeah the Fast Travel helps. It's nice to not get attacked by any ships when going somewhere.

Might have to read up on all of it on a wiki or something, but after I finish this game. Better yet: Play them all and experience it by yourself. That was easy... Already had the necklace. It's nice that the day of time can be different in cutscenes. Weather too. Also the clouds look fantastic.

Tup oh yes - sometimes the view is so impressive I stare at the cloud for seconds GroundSquirrel I forgot to answer your question about the bounty system. I really like it. If I clean a fortress it can be I pay the bounty off, but mostly i let the time running out 'til its cleared. or if they have the same level I kill them by myself to get some nice stuff, too. You also get some bonus for different things if you kill or recruit them for your ship ( did that with 2 )

Tup : I’d never get anything else done Cool screenshots btw. And yeah, the weather/time of day bit is really nice. Would have loved it if you could meditate till a more specific time though. ladyaly : One time I was clearing out a fort, when two bounty hunters show up at the same time. Both a few levels above me too. Should have seen me running I’ve tried recruiting some of the bounty hunters, but so far that hasn’t worked. Not enough power to knock them out yet I guess. Btw I wonder if there’s a limit to the number of people you can recruit for your ship. Edit: some more screenshots: Btw I've made it to Athens and visited another island the main quest steered me towards. I think I'm pretty hooked to this game

Tup and GroundSquirrel very nice shots both of you. I think there is a limit to the crewmembers you can put in. If I use Z I can see them all and hire/unhire them aswell. Not sure, but I guess i have still some members left, should look into it this evening Also its possible to upgrade your Ship there. And yes I am hooked as well - best game since a long time for me.

Currently, I've a pool of 140 to pick lieutenants from. I haven't done much upgrading other than the hull so that I can have 3 lieutenants now. Been spending most of my resources on weapon and armor upgrades.

Tup oh yes - sometimes the view is so impressive I stare at the cloud for seconds I could stare them for minutes. About the bounty hunter system... I solved it by doing a massacre in fort. Also it doesn't look like you can hire the mercenaries? I tied knocking one down but he just died instead. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯By the way, there's definitely a hit of Shadow of War in this too. Almost done with this area, currently lvl 10. I have a feeling that there's one pretty large choice to make at some point (Sparta or Athens). Digging the story so far too - though I think every AC game have had interesting story. (Also I have a feeling that I should turn the English subtitles on - I want to make sure I get the details right. This goes way beyond what my textbooks cover.)

I think since she/he is a misthios its isn't a absolut necessity to join one side. Merc's got payed from every side to be their weapon/murderer/hunter/warrior whatever. Maybe further in the story you may make a decision from your heart to join exclusivly one side. As far as I ventured both side attacking you and both sides hire you. But well, I wont exclude that it happens later in the game to show what side you are on.

I really wonder what impact siding with Athens or Sparta will have in the end... The E3 Fan Kit for Assassin's Creed Odyssey contains many high res images. I'm considering to have two of Kassandra printed on aluminium, so there's less white wall to stare at in my room, when I'm not looking at this screen. Size is a bit odd though: 8000 x 6182 pixels, so not a common aspect ratio. It's nearly a 4:3 aspect ratio, but I'd still have to crop the images and I really don't want to do that. Many online places only offer prints in sizes with those aspect ratios, but thankfully I found one store that lets me customise the size Never had anything printed on aluminium, so I'm curious to see how that would turn out...

^^No experience on those.
It looks like the decision to let the (now apparently) sick family go and killing the priest was a wrong one... Some kind of plague spread in Kephalonia. Also I did manage to recruit a bounty hunter and a mercenary. I'm not sure that I dig the changes they made in combat (as far as I know, things changes in AC: Origins). It was more fun and fluid in Black Flag and Unity (for exmaple). Blocking and countering feels clunky and it takes much more time to bring enemies down. (Just realised that AC: Black Flag actually has option for Finnish interface and subtitles ). So it turns out that "The Wolf" wasn't Kassandra's father. Interesting. This are was too much for me but chased a mercenary so... Mother is apparently alive. I guess I'll see soon enough how things are. Before that though a quick trip to Kephalonia. Needed some metals so I went into caves to get some. Good thing that I did or I would have missed this.

I finally managed to recruit one of the bounty hunters. It wasn't pretty heh. At one point, when entering a fort I alerted several guards, 2 captains and one bounty hunter who was one level ahead of me, so since they were too much to handle I ended up running and hiding in some bushes nearby. They all followed me, but when they couldn't find me they eventually all left, except for the bounty hunter. Fired some arrows at the bounty hunter and once he came closer I managed to knock him out and recruit him. So it looks like we've made similar decisions there, Tup . Wonder what you thought of that scene with the Cyclops I ordered the two prints btw. Will post how they turn out.

I did not kill the priest and let them burn the family and town - so no plague in Kephallonia. I admitt it was a hard decision - Kass didn't want be responsible for spreading a plague, despite all the pity she had for the family. Gratz to your first hired crew member GroundSquirrel I'm curious how the prints turn out. Tup did you kill the Wolf or let him go and dissappear ?
