ladyaly : I've yet to find that Amazon set. Can it only be looted or is it also available from Merchants? Nice looking bow btw. Which one is that? Tup : When I'm cleaning I'm not really that bothered about superb audio quality. Wouldn't even notice it if I'm in the nex room either. It's just nice to have some music in the background. Sound's pretty decent for a free pair of speakers and subwoofer from Dell.
Only annoying thing when using headphones is that it secludes you from the rest of the world. Still handy when you don't want to listen to the cat's meowing lol
I do have the latest driver for my GPU. I ran a benchmark test which shows my current settings. As you can see the average frame rate is 56 FPS with these settings.
I guess in present times climbing on top of statues would be considered vandalism Open back headphones have zero outside noise cancellation. In practice when I use my HD 6XX's it's like I'm wearing nothing. I can hear everything around me just as well as without them. On top of that the soundstage is much better than on closed back headphones. I personally can't stand closed back headphones and those just do not tend to have similar airy, natural sound. It's quite different experience. Open back headphones do leak audio around quite a bit but that's a non-issue at home.
You should have said that you use 4K resolution, lol. GTX 1070 is totally inadequate at that resolution. Quite franly there isn't a card that can handle it well enough for my standards. I think I'll upgrade to 27" 2560x1440 >75Hz screen first and upgrade to RTX 3070 or 3080 when the time comes.
GroundSquirrel I got most pieces from killing cult members - I think it is the heroe Branch The Bow is also a legendary called the *Fanged Bow*. You can grab it on Naxos in the Cave of Mt. Zas. There is a fight but the Bow is in the treasure chest behind the statue I got it very early and did stay with him. Tup I can't resist a statue - I MUST climb them also Kass + Ikaros = Hawks have always been my favourite animals.

ladyaly : Nice shot. Also a nice looking Phobos skin. Fits perfectly with the Father Time waist and Time's Grip arms Although I do like wearing that particular armor set I think it's nice to be able to mix and match it with different armor parts Tup I suppose I'm content with the setup I have. Game performs well enough for met at 4K resolution and I suppose that's all that matters. After a couple of thrilling sea battles I think I'll be exploring Mykonos next I think.

GroundSquirrel I got that skin from the package I bought in the beginning. Its very nice to mix and match, but also expensive if you want all the legendary armor pieces on the highest levels I store most of them in the ship Meh - I coud've needed last night some tissue's. So sad. I didn't want to kill - but I had to Kass with her WTF is this ? gaze

ladyaly : *passes the tissues* Maybe a bit late, but there might be more sad moments in this game. Nice WTF gaze. Now I want to know why, but I'm guessing it involves a spoiler.

Okay, then I guess I'll just have to post my 'Kass giving you a pointed look' screenshot... I'm pretty much finished on Mykonos now. I found that you can't just run around doing all the side quests randomly. I guess I'd have missed out on a few cutscenes because of some quests not being available. Still, I had lots of fun there. I find I'm getting better and better at using stealth while playing this game.

Things have been rather hectic lately... haven't had much time to play and do stuff. Level 20 right now. Some of the side quest are, ehh... That was kinda sad... Ouh... That guy and his "spear". Suddenly I remembered Elder Scrolls and certain Lusty Argonian Maid book. I did see this coming. Still have no idea what actually happened there. Oddly authentic with Japanese voices. One could just end up doing random(ly generated) quest and just get stuck at one place. This game is massive and it's quite nice how they managed to make even the simple random quest feel a bit better than in some games.

Tup : Heh yeah, that one in particular was ewww. My Kassandra was also like: "Please spare me the details!" She felt rather sad for the poor guy too. Oh and there are more moments that kinda make you go: "No, I really don't want to know." I like that even though you can see certain things coming the game still keeps you on your toes. Discovering things bit by bit. The title Odyssey definitely fits the bill. And so does Greek tragedy... Has anyone been doing any of those timed quests? I tend to skip them because there are already so many other quests that can be done and these just seem to distract even more from the main quest. It's a tiny bit annoying that you can mostly obtain orichalcum to spend at the Oikos of the Olympians shop through these quests. Bought one item shop yesterday, which was a black and gold version of the Assassin armor. I don't regret buying it, but it still would be nice if it was possible to see how a particular item looks on you before you buy it. Apparently it's not possible to reload an earlier save if you think you made the wrong decision buying something.

Tup an GroundSquirrel There is a lot of humorous side quests, also tragic ones. This game is til the latest little corner full of it. I also love to met historical figures like Sokrates and so on. For Tup starts the cult hunt now, which is also mostly with interesitng questlines. I'm still wonder who is the Big Figure in the Background - even if I start to close on it. GroundSquirrel I did some timed quests for drachmae to enhance ship and armor. But mostly they are left behind. Also this strange tablet thingies ... bah can't remember the name .. I did only discover 2 so far. I never did buy a piece from a blacksmith btw. After your experience glad I didn't Poseidon ------> Kassandra / Kassandra ------> Poseidon

ladyaly : It sure takes a lot of resource to enhance ship and the armor. I kinda feel bad about killing all those animals just to obtain all that leather.
So far I've been trying to evade the ship battles, which isn't always easy. The other day I was surrounded by 4 of them, so it was Game Over rather quickly lol. Btw I wonder if there's a difference between sailing during the day or at night. Like is the probability of encountering ships that will attack you higher during the day than it is at night? It kinda seems that way, but it might be wishful thinking.
There's no risk when buying armor or weapons from the blacksmith. If you make a mistake there and load a save before you visited you'll still have all your drachmae. This doesn't go for the things you buy with the orichalcum that you gathered at Oikos's store (Pilgrim's Landing, Phokis). If you buy something there it seems to apply to previous saves as well. Heh. One of the timed quests I started was killing 5 sharks. I managed to find 3 of them, killed them. Then I had to go to work and the next day had to hunt for 2 more, but I couldn't find any. And then time ran out... So it seems a bit of waste of time at this point. Especially when there's so much else to do.

Nice that they have content and improvements planned. You know... Every time I try to do something good things backfire. Hard to be good in a way that actually helps other too. What a bastard that one... By the way, I recruiting the leaders is pretty nice way to get good people.

You know... Every time I try to do something good things backfire. Hard to be good in a way that actually helps other too. Yup, this game is really playing tricks on me at times. When you like to think you made some good decisions and it later on turns out to have negative consequences. I guess it's kinda crappy for perfectionists hehe. But I really like how some action you take might have a totally different outcome. Guess it keeps you on your toes.
There was one side quest I did where the consequence of the decision I made really bothered me. Or maybe I should say it partly bothered me, but I also kinda hoped there would have been a follow-up quest to that one quest in particular.
Level 35 currently, and I'm trying out the Arena.
