ladyaly: Cool screenshots! As you know I'm not a fan of games only autosaving once you reach a certain point. It is most frustrating when you've made quite a bit of progress and right before you reach the next autosave point... you die. At least A Plague Tale Innocence was kind enough to autosave everytime you beat an enemy, so you never really lost a lot of progress. Despite all this... does the Star Wars game give you the option you to replay chapters? The little robot definitely looks cute. It kinda reminds me of WALL-E

There are a lot of this Meditation points - honestly. I didn't lose a lot of progress the 2 times I needed. And there are chapters in the main menu far as I did see, so I suppose it should be possible. I really love BD-1 and now that you mention it - you are right Wall-E is greeting

Well - it seems you can't replay chapters, which is terrible if you encounter a bug. But I love the game ! It is a great singleplayer adventure - and the Star Wars Feeling is real. Just some new pics Crew Members having a troubled past, too

ladyaly : Thanks for the new batch of screenshots The creature in that last shot definitely looks like he's seen a lot of things that trouble his mind. I'm glad that the game is not turning out to be a disappointment for you.
Definitley a bit of a bummer that you're not able to even replay parts of it. Sometimes I wonder why they make games that way? Surely it can't be very hard to implement a savegame system? One way to make sure that you're definitely screwed if your savegame file is corrupted or if you encounter a bug. I wonder if it's possible to create a workaround where you just make your own backup of the game's autosave at regular intervals?
I know having the multiple save slots in AC:O didn't help you with your bug, but in many cases there are minor bugs where it helps to just reload an earlier save. Oh well... Btw the other day I saw a video of someone who made a motion-controller for the game out of a lightsaber toy and a force glove controller. It looks pretty neat. Might have to make sure you have a lot of space though. Else it'd be best to move all things that are breakable in the area
I'm currently playing AC:O's horrible DLC again... Shock! Horror! Part of me wanted to skip it, but with with lack of better things to play... and I suppose I'm working up to that fight with Hades when I play the Atlantis DLC again lol
Also trying to sort out the enormous amount of screenshots I made. I thought I made a lot of screenshots while playing Mass Effect, but it turns out that it was nowhere near as ridiculous as it is now lol
In other news I've been trying to catch up a bit on the few tv shows I was following on Netflix.

The game is plaindead awesome. The minor setbacks - like savegames, not making your own character - is nothing compared to the story. It fits into the Star Wars series so well - had a lot of goosebumps. Nearly finished now and have a lot of screenies to share. Cal and Greez Dritus - Greez trying to solve a trust problem New findings getting you closer to the end BD-1 in action to help a rare creature - the Shyyyo Bird He offers free ride - up to the air and to a important stopover still some differences between Cere and Cal off to Dathomir

ladyaly : Keep 'em coming, those screenshots So, I guess there's a lot of drama between crew members? Surely looks like that conversation at the dinner table didn't go well (if there even was a conversation in the first place...) Would you say that this game is now your favourite Star Wars game? Or do you still prefer those where you can roleplay? Seeing that rare bird creature makes me feel like Cal has landed in Jurassic Park heh. I always like seeing those planet close-ups. It's kinda like seeing those New Horizons pictures of Pluto. So awesome

Drama and funny scenes at once ! After a hefty argue at the meal Greez did salt... and salt ... and salt ... In the end BD-1 did start scanning his food and Greez completely freaked out about - like - I can eat how and what I want, freakish control robots only making greasy oily stain on expensive cushioned benches Dathomir is freaking awesome and scary at the same time free climbing as its best exploring dark corners and fighting .... UNDEADS !

ladyaly: Better not be afraid of heights then Poor BD-1 looks like he's afraid of it all and holding on to you for dear life. The huge head in the first screenshot looks pretty interesting. I assume you can go inside of it too? Undead... no fun at all I guess.

There are scenes who gave me the real creeps .... Even without being to much afraid of heights. The old temples - some having access, others not. But the undead witches aren't hard to handle if you evade and block. At this state of the game you have a lot of pull and push force, too. So here some shots from enemies and converted enemies This boss fight was .... meh, The winged Terror Gorgora and even if you beat this thing it will come back and try to kill you a few minutes later A pretty badass boss and darkside Jedi Taron Malicos - that was pretty hard, I died a lot before I got the knack of it. Nightsister Witch Merrin - she will harass you and then join your cause after you defeated the dark Jedi

LOL in the first screenshot it looks like that giant temple face is in the process of throwing up its lunch
Very diverse enemies then. Guess that witch is a bit of an opportunist. Don't trust her!

Thats the reason I made this shot. The view was so funny. That Witch is a powerfull Ally - and Cal and Merrin having in common that both are survivors from old orders. There is no romance in the game, but the way they act and looking at each other --- I would say they having a crash The Mantis - a nice ship a rare smile the object Cal did hunt finally at his grasp

Heh great minds... Definitely a nice looking ship! I love that second screenshot. Some games don't have enough smiling characters. Like in Mass Effect there were hardly any moments where we saw Shepard smile. I always thought that was kind of sad. Thanks for sharing again ladyaly

So this will be the last post for this game - its finally a great star wars game again ! ermmm.... will he eat me ? or spit on me ?? on the way to the endgame - only possible with Nightsister Merrins help - she let the ship disappear One evil place is this and here the one and only you can fight but never beat ... escaped and Merrin to the rescue all together in harmony - before destroying the precious holocron and save a lot of lifes Kudos to EA and Respawn - they made a great game. Not very long, not flawless - but so well Star Wars Story - better then the movies lately ! "May the force be with us"

Nice screenshot that first one. Hope he didn't puke on you Seems to be a recurring theme in this game So in the end you went through all that trouble to have that paperweight for your coffee table? Honestly it looks too nice on there to be destroyed... Oh and I think you are right about Cal and Merrin. Look at them all cosy on that couch Bit of a shame that these are the last of the screenshots though

I will see if I can dig out some left overs then Just for you The paperweight thing is a holocron- stored inside informations of force sensitive kids. If you keep it and look for this kids they are in grave danger - cause the empire wants to grab them, torturing and break them to have mighty Inquisitors. So destroying this information is key to prevent that happening. The "Monster" in the first shot seemed to be friendly and the last of his kind. After the Imperium arrived on Bogado, to hunt Cal and the holocron, it vanished. I am sure the damn Stormtroopers killed the poor thing.
