Heh the only Western game I ever played is a really, really old game from 1985 called Gunfright. Didn't have much of a story and looking back on it it is awfully boring lol

The sequel to A Plague Tale: Innocence is coming along quite nicely. Beware the spoilers, but this Gameplay Overview Trailer for A Plague Tale: Requiem was posted a few days ago: I suppose I will be buying this one when it gets out, since I really enjoyed the first game

I got the first Plague Tale at my birthday from a friend. So I'll start it out soon.

Cool, ladyaly I can't remember when your b'day was, but happy belated birthday I hope you'll enjoy the game and please post a little bit about your progress and experience with it.
I bought Syberia: The World Before from Steam the other week. Finished it last night. Was a great game. Will make a post about it tomorrow with some screenshots.

It was last Friday, and thank you And about the game: Well let me put it this way - they are pretty horror heavy scenes in a dark game. That means I can only play it in small doses and then I really need a break. But the story won't let me go - so yes - apart from being a wimp it's a really good game. Some Screenshots from the beginning

ladyaly : Agreed that the game is dark. So it is nice to read that you’re “putting your fears aside” so to speak. I guess it’s good to take it in in little chunks. It’s definitely well worth sticking with it for the story in my opinion. Nice to see the screenshots
Was contemplating about getting A Plague Tale: Requiem from Steam today, but I ended up getting Return to Monkey Island instead. Something a bit lighter for the time being.

With Return to Monkey Island finished I had to find something new to play, so now it is time for A Plague Tale: Requiem. Played about 2 hours so far and it's looking good

She struggles really sometimes with her temper btw.... Well, you know... teenagers Glad you still think the game is really good and I hope you will stick with it until the end I've made some more progress in A Plague Tale: Requiem. Currently in Chapter IV. It's still a pretty gripping story.

Just a couple of screenshots from A Plague Tale: Requiem. Nothing really spoilery. Amicia: Hugo:

I've made it to Chapter 11 now. The game can be a bit of a struggle at certain moments. Especially when the stealth part doesn't really work out the way I'd like lol Then there's a chance you get overwhelmed by enemies rather quickly. Sometimes I manage to run away and find a place to hide or in some cases stumble upon the exit (it can be a bit unclear sometimes in which direction you exactly need to go)
If I do get stuck I usually find it helps if I just quit playing and try again the next day. Or if it's really bad YouTube can be helpful.
Still enjoying the game and story a lot though. It's a bit darker compared to A Plague Tale: Innocence, because of what Amicia and Hugo have gone/are going through.

Heh, yes I know it's hard to believe but it can be more darker. Call it character development I suppose. The things these kids have to go through... Meanwhile I'm glad you haven't given up on it yet, ladyaly

I finished A Plague Tale: Requiem!
Obviously I won't spoil anything, but let's just say it has been quite a ride. I still stand with my opinion of the game being darker than A Plague Tale: Innocence. I think the ending does leave room for more.
