Supposedly this became available today...
If I understand correctly NVIDIA's GeForce NOW gives you the option to connect to an online store (Steam for instance) and, provided if they're supported, stream the games from your game library to a PC/MAC/laptop/Android device.
No more need for a state of the art gaming PC with a fancy GPU. Even the most demanding PC games will work seamlessly on your devices.
There's a free membership, which gives you standard access and a gaming session length of 1 hour. Standard access means that, if it's busy on the server, you might have to wait a bit before you can actually start playing.
The paid membership gives you priority access and an extended gaming session length. I read somewhere that it's 6 hours. It also gives you ray tracing technology. It currently costs €5.49 or $4.99 a month for 12 months.
A number of games are also available to play even if you don't own them already. Not sure which ones.
It sounds nice and all, but personally I'm not a fan of paid subscriptions. Despite it probably being cheaper than buying a new GPU.
I thought I might give the free membership a go, but the gaming session length puts me off. Imagine being in the middle of a long boss fight and your connection is broken because your session expired. How annoying lol

But you could play all of your games while you're on the bus, train, plane or spaceship! Oh and even in the car, unless you're the one driving of course.

Depends on the game I suppose and if there's really nothing else to do then it's nice to be able to play a game that's not that complicated. Hmmm... but we have this big ass screen at work...

If I'm not at home I read eBooks. Reading books is my second passion

I never seem to be able to just sit down and read anymore. I've one book in the backpack I take with me to work, which I started reading over a year ago. I've almost finished it lol When it's nice enough to sit outside I like to read, but 9/10 times I just can't concentrate, because of my neighbours' kids yelling. So, what kind of books do you like to read, ladyaly?

It's always good to be prepared. Prague is a beautiful city, so I'm sure you'll have a great time there.
Well, it's a miracle. Finished the first book in The Expanse series. Only 7 more to go!
In the past I have read quite a few of the Temperance Brennan crime novels by Kathy Reichs. Still a couple more of those to go as well.
