Well, you might have been able to fill the bottle with sanitizer from the other bottle(s), so that it's full again.
If this virus doesn't have impact on the world economy then there are some other issues that will have a huge impact on the world economy I fear.

Yes ! Here we have now more then 1100 infected. I live in a region who has quite the number of them - infact the second most in Germany. They closed now a secondary school ( German French ) because of that. The Stock Market also breaks heavily down here.

Well, this is it! Today our prime minister (I call him Pinocchio) declared a prohibition to shake hands! After the announcement he shook hands with the director of the institute for public health and the evironment 🙄

HAH - yeah its ridicolous. Here they start to call off all events, including Football, my Hubby's Club will stop the sell of tickets. Since he have a seasonal ticket he is sad about. Not sure if 1200+ cases are that much, I'm not sure. Our Minister for health declared 1000 people for events as critical. WTH Why 1000 ? This number is made out of thin air - all experts saying that. 500 or even 20 can be enough. This is just proof for me they are helpless and have no clue.

Well, if you compare it to seasonal influenza it's probably not much? Makes me wonder if from now on we're going to treat every wave of seasonal influenza this way.

Here in South germany - Breisgau - we are official now a risky Region. Freiburg did cancel ALL events- no football/ Concert or anything else. The Virus is over the Border in Alsace rampant and circulates freely. But we can't close the border - right ?

Not unless they quickly build a huge fence around it.
But seriously it's pointless if there are already people there who carry the virus.

Yes - indeed. We will see what happens. Just trying to stay away from crowd and working from home is a helpful thing I suppose. We have around here 230+ infected which isn't too much yet. Germany has reached now 1600+ cases. Just got an interesting curve from a friend on FB - made from this institute Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) in USA so cancel out events and stuff seems drastically, but it is helpfully.

Interesting graph.
Makes you wonder what's more economical. Cutting down on healthcare budgets or putting the entire ecomony on hold?

Neither I suppose, but to cancel events and such things are at least a way to slow down the progress. In Germany the progress is pretty fast - so I dare say it should have be done far earlier.
And after weeks and weeks of denial the WHO finally speaks of a Pandemia, which was as clear as water for me since weeks. Experts and there ways of calm down people with denial and lying ....

Our goverment just announced new anti-COVID-19 measures for the entire country. Stay home if you have a cold. Only call your doctor if symptoms worsen. Other than that everyone should stay at home as much as possible and avoid all social contacts. Good thing I have no social life then Events with more than 100 people will be cancelled, so no more concerts, football matches, visiting a zoo or museum. But we're not closing the schools, because the virus apparently doesn't like schools

Another thing that just came to my attention: Link
According to First Vice-President and European Commissioner Frans Timmermans who is pushing the "Green Deal" Climate Law (He's Dutch and I apologise, but you should know I never voted for him) this Climate Law is of more importance now because of the Corona virus. Okay, so now we're linking the Corona virus to the climate? He also says there's a need for this Climate Law because of the tensions at the Greek/Turkish border, so climate change can be linked to the current migrant crisis as well? This world's really FUBAR!
Also read that Tom Hanks and his wife were both infected. Apparently they're currently in Australia, Queensland to be precise, filming. To date (March 12, 2020) Queensland has a population of about 5000 million people and there are 17 confirmed cases of the Corona virus...
There probably is a better chance of winning the lottery

What a nonsense ....
I'm actually very concerned about my Mom. We could at least talk her into NOT leaving her house. In her age she shouldn't take any risks ... This Morning they closed a kindergarten in her neighbourhood....
The Case with Tom Hanks I did read - lets hope for both of them they get clean and fast over it. I like him very much as a actor.
