So I started Baldur's Gate and dunno is it me or is the game just to old and/or overrated.
1.) Combat is horrible 2.) You have not really a connection or talks with your companions - I had only 1 quest so far with Neera 3.) Its hard for me to get a connection / bound to story and my character 4.) ... and its far worse then Pillars of Eternity - which wasn't my favorite game either.
I guess I just play 1 time through and try BG 2 - but its not my game, thats sure

Well, it is almost 22 years old at this point, so I suppose you can't expect too much from it in terms of game mechanics. I'd figured the story might make up for all that, but you're saying that's kinda disappointing as well.
So I guess the game was great for its time, since we didn't know any better then. And nowadays maybe we're just too spoiled.

Yeah its true about the age - even an enhanced edition can't change that. You are also probably right about the spoiled thing ... I've just played and play a lot of great games

Baldur's Gate 3 is absolutely great, I can only recommend it. And I will certainly have to play it more than once - with around 17,000 variations on how it can end. Every sentence plays a role, every decision casts a shadow. A welcome distraction in these dire and gruelling times Yridia, folk heroine, Rogue, High Half-Elf - always there to protect the weak

Wow! Great looking character again, ladyaly Guessing the character in the 3rd shot didn't have her morning coffee yet? 17.000 variatons on the ending? Eek! According to howlongtobeat.com it takes an average 108 hours to beat the main game + extras. So in order to get all the different endings you would have to play 1.836.000 hours or 76.500 days (and that is if you play 24 hours/day). I'm guessing you're going to need multiple lives to see all the different endings lol
I got Planet Zoo in the Steam Sale a few weeks ago, so now I'm building zoo's lol Yesterday I found out that having a dangerous animal escape is a great and efficient way to get rid of animal welfare protesters in your zoo lol

*giggles* not bad at all Well - the endings are variations. You can have as many self created Characters, but also play one of the 7 Origin story Character. I suppose the romances, friendships, personal quests add easy to the 17.000 variations But the game is storywise simply incredible good. And Lae'zel is a Bitch - with or without a coffee Astarion the Pale Elf and Vampire

Cool shots, ladyaly. Is Astarion Solas's long lost twin?

BG 3 is the best game since ME 2 I play. The stories are deep, the characters are so well fleshed out etc etc... I just love this game a lot Shadowheart Gale The devil Raphael Underdark mushroom sovereign

Sovereign... why does it remind me a lot of ME's Sovereign? And it's not just the name No promises, but maybe I'll get it once it is on sale at some point. The turn-based games are my least favourite and I'm still kinda miffed that I was never able to finish the 2nd Divinity Original Sin game. I see Horizon Forbidden West is coming to PC in March. At this point I'd prefer getting that game instead.
