Guessing that'll be keeping you off the streets for a while heh. Definitely. It's a great story and I can't wait to see how it continues. Or more like what really happened that made the successful ending possible. Since I already had the previous game I got this a bit cheaper.
Started reading/playing - good stuff and interesting.
Looks like there's a new class coming to Black Desert online, Lahn: Not really sure what kind... pre-creation starts next week. Looks like some kind of sword swinger.

Now that I have put seven or so hours in STEINS;GATE 0... I'll write a bit about my first impressions so far. The whole thing is about time travelling and world lines. It's quite complex and interesting thing. Basically things that happen in zero are happening on different world line than the so called "ideal" world line. Basically all the things that happened in zero made the ending possible in the original STEINS;GATE. However, in zero the things take place after the happy ending in original. Sounds a bit confusing, right? So, zero starts slightly before where the original ended. Okabe on the right. Maho on left. Zero is definitely darked and the main character (Okabe Rintaro) is pretty broken - understandably. There's basically no good future in this world line so they basically have to succeed in, well, saving Kurisu. Since Okabe's condition is what it is things are a bit hard for Suzuha. In original it was all about Okabe's point of view. In zero that's not the case. Suzuha seems to get quite a bit of screen time. Which is good, since there were a lot of things that wasn't told in the original. Future flashback (flashforward?). Suzuha on the right. The little girl is Kagari. This is actually something that I did not know - Suzuha let others think that she came alone from the future. Apparently something happened since Kagari is no where to be seen, though, it looks like Suzuha is looking for her. I have my own theory what happened (mostly based on just how Kagari looks) but that would be paradoxical as hell, so well see....
I guess it's understandable that she left quite a bit of info unsaid - she didn't want to cause a time paradox.
Kagari and Suzuha inside the time machine. Things are starting to get hot. It's interesting going to see how thing will progress.

Looks like a hairy situation there...
Are you actually able to create a time paradox in that game?

Looks like a hairy situation there... Are you actually able to create a time paradox in that game? I guess that depends on the definition... Because, well, this is a paradox:
First of, there's a mother, a father and a daughter (Suzuha) in that picture. Father is a bit older but not much. Suzuha's mother is about two, three years or so years older than Suzuha at that point if I remember correctly. Kinda interesting because Suzuha hasn't even born yet - and her parents aren't dating.
By the way, it might not look like it but in that shot Suzuha was about to hit her mother's nose in... but her mother tripped and she missed. Suzuha realised what was going on and managed to grab her. It was a surprise Christmas party for Suzuha and obviously she freaked out. It's not even remotely surprising considering what she has been though.
And regarding Kagari... I think that might be problematic. The year when they got separated was 1998 apparently so she's likely around the same age as Suzuha "now" (2010).

Always interesting stuff... Imagine if you're the cause of your parents not getting together...

Always interesting stuff... Imagine if you're the cause of your parents not getting together... Time travel, time and space are things that can really make your head spin...
That Christmas party was a little comic relief before the storm apparently. Things went to hell instantly after (not even after really).

Yes, why can't it ever stay nice?
Making good progress with DOS II. Escaped the island and now I'm stuck on a ship. Reminds me of The Secret of Monkey Island where you also got stuck on a ship after leaving Melee Island. Except this time I'm not looking for a key in a box of cereal lol

Have you tried Pillars of Eternity? Also Pillars of Eternity II: Deadfire just got released... I though the Pillars of Eternity was quite good so I'll likely buy it at some point. In any case though, should be similar to DOS.
By the way, really nice weather here finally. 26c in shade!

No I haven't tried them. I'm not really sure I want to start them because of the similarity to the DOS gameplay. It's not my favourite kind of gameplay.
I decided to give DOS EE a try and I'm only playing the other game since I got it in the same package.
Heh I was really considering another ME:A run. I also still have an ME3 playthrough to finish lol
