ladyaly : Thanks
I picked the more forceful option in that scene because I felt that Kassandra would be rather frustrated at that point. She didn't get the answers she is looking for in the Temple of Apollo. And having to deal with a bunch of guards and a mercenary outside the Pythia's home wasn't helping much either.
Honestly if she was really bitter and vengeful she would have killed them all, but instead she knocked them all out and recruited them for her ship It's a very threatening and physical move of course, but I think it was never her intent to actually hurt the Pythia. Hmmm... I'm not angry yet about missing the stuff. Just really disappointed I'll be moving my backup files from my first playthrough back to the savegames folder once New Game Plus is implemented and then hopefully when I start a new game all the things I obtained/bought will be available. Btw I really hope it will also be possible to make a new profile with new slots to save to instead of having to overwrite the current saves.
EDIT:
Apparently the new update (1.1.4) will be released towards the end of the month and it will include New Game +
It mentions being able to keep everything you earned in your previous playthrough. I also mentions that your old autosave files will gradually be overwritten, so I guess that means no new profile with new slots to save to. Probably no extra slots either. Oh well... not the end of the world I guess...

GroundSquirrel YES - I did read about New Game+, too. I guess I'll play Alexios then - with different decisions. I have no problem with saves - I just use F5 when I log out and make a special safe at key decisions. So far I have only 7 safes with lvl 54 on Kass. The lonely Lion ... and again Kass

I dunno I just like to keep a save whenever I reach a new area in the game and at some of the key points in the game. So for me 20 really isn't enough for one Kass playthrough let alone a whole new playthrough with Alexios heh. Mweh I see FB is messing with image links again Should really look for something else.

Tup : 41%? You almost sound like a colleague of mine. It took him over a month just to get off Kephalonia It's funny though. He eventually finished the game in less than 50 hours and only played the main story. Didn't do the Atlantis storyline, any of the other sidequests or even the DLC even though he does have the season pass. I keep telling him he might have been better off buying a regular edition of the game instead of a collector's edition heh.
I noticed how Visual Customisation now lets you pick from different colour variations of armor. Or maybe it already did, but it wasn't working in my first playthrough. I still have to store everything I find in the storage chest on the Adrestia first before being able to select it from the Visual customisation menu. Things been kinda busy so I haven't had chance to play that much... It feels like day doesn't have enough hours. I wake up at 6.45, 7.00 at the nearest bus stop. Back to home around 17.00 if everything goes smoothly (and them I'm rather tired; often just watch some shit, eat and go to bed).
I have played 68 hours though. I'm a completionist though. I could make some rapid progress in the main story since my level is quite high.
Nice shots all!
I did grab STEINS;GATE ELITE (basically a full remaster of the original; remaster done right...) and STEINS;GATE: Linear Bounded Phenogram. So likely 100 hours worth of pure story stuff on my backlog.

ladyaly : It might seem a bit obsessive I know. But maybe it will one day save me from a major bug like you had I'm now considering Imgur for image hosting. Hoping they don't mess around with the links like FB keeps doing. Got as far as Argolis in my current playthrough, which I won't finish because I plan on restarting again once NG+ is there. I only just now looted the black and gold Assassin's armor, which I bought from my hard earned orichalcum in my first playthrough. The Athenian War Hero set which I bought from the Helix store is still missing though. Hmmm...

Tup: Those are long days. No wonder you feel knackered when you get home. Although waking up at 6:45 am seems like sleeping in to me when I'm on early shifts. Then I wake up at 5:30 am. I leave for work around 6:15 am and usually get there about 6:50 am. That said I do get to go home at 15:00 pm. It seems rather cold in that Praey game. In development for quite a few years too (2014?) I'm glad for you that they managed to finish it. I only ever backed one game on Kickstarter, but that one seems to have died a long time ago, so I'm quite reluctant of ever funding another game on that platform. Having more luck backing music projects. Backed about 20 of those and always got my rewards.

Also winter doesn't help... When you wake up, its dark. When you get out of work it's also dark. When you go to grab some lunch the sun might shine if you're lucky. Now that spring is coming things are changing rather rapidly: tomorrow is going to be 6 minutes longer than today (7.44 - 17.25 vs. 7.41 - 17.28). I've had enough of this winter too...
Yeah, it's been in development for quite some time. It looked like it could be fun - quite nice that they've made it this far finally.

Tup Here it smells already springlike and a lot of little flowers starting to grow already - today we had 16° and sunshine. I cross my fingers it will go fast for you now as well. Sadly I have a bit of a flue and feel not all to well, so I can't appreciate the sun, since it hurts in my head and eyes *pffff* annoying I say This game looks ... icy, but also interesting. GroundSquirrel Well - luckily it was at a major key point, which I did safe. I'm about to mop up the last quests now - killing some merc's and such stuff. But honestly the stuff you get with Orichalcum isn't not really worth it at this lvl. As a fact - this game is really good and provides still a lot of fun - even if you have finished the big major questlines. Not to mention the gorgeous landscapes

That's a proper summer temperature right there! It was ~-14c this morning (now about -4c). We got quite a bit of snow this winter so that stuff will not melt instantly. It does look like things warm up quite a bit in the near future though so proper winter might be over soon.
I hope you get well soon.
Who didn't see this coming?

ladyaly : My parents currently have loads of crocuses in their tiny front yard. It looks so pretty. Sometimes I wish I had a nice garden with lots of plants and flowers, but maintaining it is so much work. I'm sorry to read you're feeling a bit under the weather. Hope it'll pass soon. I know the items you get at the Oikos store aren't that interesting mostly. I only bought that black and gold Assassin's armor there. It is one of my favourites though, so that was a good buy at least Tup : I guess we did see this coming heh. It's funny. I read a review about Anthem on a Dutch news site, which called Athem a mediocre shooter. Strange enough I can no longer find the review when surfing to that site. Thankfully it's still in the search history on my mobile phone heh. Either way it mentioned that the moments when you're playing a mission were good, but storywise not so much. Apparently there are references to Star Wars, which doesn't make the story seem very original to me? Article also mentioned that, despite the nice cutscenes, the story felt pretty much irrelevant. There also seems to be a problem with long loading times. And if your friends have a shorter loading time than you do you're going to have to catch up with them. Perhaps it's a good game if you just want to shoot at things, but not if you care about an actual story line. Apparently a huge German electronics retail chain has already reduced the price of the game to €39. Imagine having pre-ordered this game and on the day of its release it's already dropped significantly I'll try and fix most of the links to the images I posted. Decided to give Imgur a go.

So the patch is out and Ubisoft supposedly fixed the second part of the DLC. I made sure to thank them for… nothing really. Can hardly notice they changed anything to make it less of an insult to those who’ve been feeling let down in the first place. Well, they’ve managed to make things even worse now I think.
It’s kinda like buying a new car and picking the colour blue from their brochure. But when it’s finally time to pick up your brand new car it turns out to be yellow. Any decent car dealer would make sure you end up getting the car in the colour you ordered. Somehow I get the feeling that if Ubisoft was the car dealer they’d fix that problem by coming up with a yellow car with green polka dots O_o

Tup I'm not really surprised about Anthem GroundSquirrel I see your point, but *shrugs* I don't really care. This Major Gameplay Enterprises doing as they please - but Ubisoft at least tried to make it right. If I would bother about any of the promises not fullfilled - I guess I would lose the fun to play. You sound so upset, did this realy offend you personally ? And in my play I could just say good bye ( if I remember right). Maybe you remember the time Dragon Age Origins came out - the outcry that gay is even possible in a sex scene- AND why they didn't go further and gave them the full right as the hetero had and so on. It could be even called rassistic because elves never could be King/Queen in the end - or Mages .... On Stream some players saying its offending for USA/Trump - about some marks like *lets make Sparta great again* Nowadays the crowd is complaining about everything and anyone is also always insulted. SO - yes - call me an ignorant idiot - but I really wont care. I try a game and either I have fun with or not-simple as that. With the new game+ I'll probably wait 'til the story really ends. But nice they did implant it now Oh - did I mention I really love those nights in AC ?

ladyaly : I’m glad you could at least enjoy the DLC. I just wish others, including myself, could enjoy it too. There's just too much controversy. If you’re really going to force your main character in a relationship then at least put some effort in writing a plausible romance and give us someone with more character than this. There’s really nothing about him that peaked my interest (or my Kassandra’s interest) If only there could have been someone a bit more like Brasidas. Someone who actually fights alongside you and won’t let you do all of the heavy lifting on your own.
And yes, you can say good bye and watch him sail away and be happy that he’s finally gone, but as soon as you continue with the DLC he’ll show up anyway and you’re stuck in a relationship that you didn’t want in the first place. As I wrote before: they were advertising in interviews that they were not going to be forcing people into relationships they didn’t want and yet they throw all that and the role playing part straight out of the window in this DLC. It neglects a number of people who were really enjoying this game and no longer recognise the character they were roleplaying. And then of course there are also those for who it’s a lot more personal. I don’t know about Dragon Age: Origins. I wasn’t around playing games when it came out, but 10 years later not much has changed and some people are still more entitled to happy endings than others. I know I'm taking this personal and I doubt anyone really cares why, but I'm by no means a social justice warrior.
But really? Why does "Everybody wins" not count for everyone? This thing wouldn't have been an issue if Ubisoft had just sticked to what they were advertising.

GroundSquirrel I see - and you fight real hotblooded - so yes you are by no means a social justice warrior For me it isn't worth the effort. I had in my RL enough fights as a social justice warrior. So I really wont fight especially on a part of my life where I try to relax and have fun. Otherwise I will be worn out and see at all fronts and always enemies. I need to block stuff like this away. It will only lead to high frustration - and imo absolutely NO Game its worth it. This is why I avoid to even read posts / chats and so on. The only Forum I'm still on is this one. Without you I wouldn't even notice the ruccus about this relationship stuff. Its a virtual created world = in fact just pixels. Even if I get hooked heavily on some games I wont allow it to lead to frustration. So I am in real life a social justice warrior - but not for/in/or about a Game.
