ladyaly : np It's funny. I own 5 AC games now, but it took AC Odyssey to actually finish one. Also: Kass can do the scary ring finger thingy

indeed. Looks a little bit weird I started yesterday AC III Remastered. Its a different kind of game, sort of. But still interesting story it seems.

Curious to know how you'll fare with that one, ladyaly . Played the latest Lost Tale which you apparently need to have played before you're able to start the Atlantis DLC. It wasn't a very tricky one. The only tricky part was going back to my current playthrough, because after copying the backup files from my current run back to the game's save folder they wouldn't show up in the game. In fact the only option I could pick when starting the game was "New Game". It was really odd, because it seemed the game created a new savegame folder in the existing one and was looking for the save files there instead. Also the save files from AC Black Flag and AC Origins have disappeared, which isn't a totall loss because I hadn't really started with the latter. Still... strange things going on here.

GroundSquirrel It is so... stern... and .. clumsy. But I suppose I play it through.Besides I do not like Desmond. He looks a bit like a misplaced ape. Really strange - my new game+ has the colour yellow and is labeled with the higher level. So its easy to get the right safe for me. What I really not understand how it can mess up with the other game safes ?? O_O

Well, as you know I save often and keep saves at regular intervals. I couldn't play the DLC since my character's level's not high enough, so I do the following:
* Make a backup of the saves from current playthrough. * Delete the saves from current playthrough from savegame directory. * Copy the last backup I made from my first playthrough to the game's savegame director. * Play the DLC.
Repeat the steps when reverting back to my current playthrough.
Up until last night it's never given me any problems.
I don't even touch the saves from Black Flag or Origins, because they're in a different folder.

So it might be Windows ? Sometimes it does strange things. I start to be slightly worried about Tup .... I wonder what happened. About AC III = Some stuff is nearly impossible to accomplish. So I don't give a damn about the achievements = its not necessary to have 100 % for this game. A tad of humor would have done this game pretty good. Will see if Unity and Origins is so incredible stern as well.

Computers in general...
I've thought of Tup too. Damn, sometimes I feel like it's a curse or something because pretty much everyone I know just leaves without saying anything and they never come back *sigh* I really hope he's okay.
I gave up on the first AC, because at some point I wasn't even able to continue with the main story. Stupid controller... Maybe AC III gameplay is more like the first game?

I know that feeling GroundSquirrel Most of the people I did met during play games and/or forums are vanished. About the gameplay- I dont have any controller thingies. I play with classical PC Tastatur / Mouse. But its still clumsy in comparison to AC Odyssee. I just play the Mainstory - no intention to play sidequests or other stuff.

Heh it's pretty everyone on and offline ever since I had the burnout.
Played the first AC on the ol' Xbox 360, hence the stupid controller.
I prefer my trusty keyboard and mouse too. The only game that was a pain in the behind when playing with a keyboard was Syberia 3. I ended up buying a controller just for that.

... Can I give you a hug ?
So I finished AC III last night and started the DLC = only to uninstall the whole game some times later out of frustration and disbelieve. Ubi isn't really good with DLC'S ... I doubt I want start Unity anytime soon - not even sure now about Origin. But I did read that AC Origin is different to the previous, more towards AC Odyssee.

Awww thanks ladyaly Oh dear, so the DLC was that bad? I wanted to start the Atlantis DLC last night, but it took over an hour to download a 500 GB driver update for my GPU. This while the 8 GB-ish game update only took like 5 mins to download O_o

I guess you need to be a pure AC hardcore fan to bear such nonsense. It wasn't even in context to the main game - and if it was I didn't discover it Atlantis will be for me tonight Maybe how do you hide content in the spoiler tag ? It does not work for me.

I started the first part of the DLC last night. I only got as far as the first bit of fighting you have to do. I was just too tired I guess. Odd that spoiler tag
test
don't work? Hmmm it seems they do work. [ spoiler ] write your spoiler here [ / spoiler ] Make sure to remove all the extra spaces between the brackets.

I've moved on with the DLC last night.
I'll try to not spoil anything heh.
The point is that I have no idea where to start, so all I've been doing is exploring and clearing the viewpoints. There are 2 quests listed that I can do. One doesn't really have impact on the story I guess, but the other makes me wonder why I should blindly go and do it without really knowing anything yet?
