Indeed it is... Some of the structures in the landscape remind me a bit of Mass Effect btw. EDIT: Just encountered a fun bug... Finally managed to get rid of the last overseer and figured I'd save my progress. Just in case you know... So while I'm moving back to an area where I can save I end up getting stuck between rock and a pillar. Kass looks like she's trying to swim her way out of the situation, but no matter what I do she won't move. And then suddenly the word "Desynchronized" shows up on the screen lol Poor Kass and poor me for having to deal with that overseer again heh.

Finally finished the first part of the Atlantis DLC. I didn't feel very motivated to continue my playthrough, since my mom was admitted to the hospital last week, but against all expectations, she was released from the hospital today. Still more tests for her to undergo, but it's nice knowing that she is home now. Anyway, without trying to spoil things, my feelings on the first part of the DLC? As I wrote before: at first I felt a tiny bit lost on where to start even though the game only gives you two (if I remember correctly) quests to undertake. So at first I was just out exploring just to see what I'd find near all those question marks on the map. In any case: at some point you just have to choose and go with it. Most of the quests I found quite interesting and some even gave you a real dilemma where I found it very hard to make a certain choice. It really feels like, when it comes to those choices, they put a lot more effort in this DLC than in the LotFB DLC. For that reason alone I'm definitely looking forward to replaying this one, whereas I'm not really looking forward to replaying the LOTFB DLC. Still there are two more episodes to go; I hope I won't have to change my mind later. This first part of the DLC also feels like it's a lot longer? The characters you come across have certainly been a lot of fun and I hope to see more of them in the upcoming episodes. And one in particular really gave me feels, but that would be spoiling things. Looking forward to the next episode. One tip if you haven't started this DLC yet: Make sure your inventory isn't almost full before starting this DLC... Diving into the unknown:

Oh I hope your Mom get well soon. I did finish the DLC last night, too. And I agree heartily. This DLC is fun and some decisions are hard to make - I needed for some quests hard to think over seriously before making a decision. The Overseers can be a pain in the ass, though. Gladly I did empty my bag before starting the DLC - so I know what you mean. The blooming fields and the whole enviroment is gorgeous. That it ends in a real cliffhanger ... well - hopefully the second part starts on a certain point

I'll have to remember to store my crap on the Adrestia when I start next part of the DLC. It's at least nice that there's a blacksmith in Elysium. But who'd have thought you'd still have to work once you are there? O_o

Apparently a new Lost Tale is out. Hope I'll get the chance to play it sometime this weekend. I encountered something funny last night when entering a cave occupied by bandits. The guy lying on the ground next to the wooden platform was on fire the moment I got near the enemy zone. One of his mates was standing next to him. Not sure if he was trying to help putting the flames out. Anyway, a few seconds later the flames had died and the bandit who had been on fire before is now standing near that torch next to him... and catches fire again Unfortunately this time he doesn't live to tell the tale... Moments later two other bandits show up. I guess they got alerted when the other bandit died in the flames and they start a search because they think the misthios is here! They start looking for her in the bushes on the right and one of them uses his torch to set the bushes on fire in an attemp to smoke out the misthios. I even hear him say: "She isn't here." and right then his companion catches fire and dies. And to top it all off the guy who torched the bushes in the first place died in the flames as well I guess they are the sorriest bunch of bandits I encountered in this game so far

Great Story - Couldn't stop laughing. Not sure if I have the time this week to play the new lost tale. Some stuff to prepare for a small holiday trip from 26. May to 02. Juni. I did also stop playing Alexios - strangely I don't get the attachement to him like I got immediate to Kassandra. BTW - do you play a *Plague Tale* ? The metascore is pretty high and people are very impressed about this game. Not sure if it is mine - its to dark and depressive I think. Since I have to fight anyway a lot of odds in my life if it gets under my skin my insomnia will for sure be stronger.

I've cursed those torches plenty of times while playing.
I've been trying to play this game as stealthily as possible by trying to just knock down enemies and then recruit them.
Sadly there have been quite a few times where the ones who were carrying a torch fell right on top of the damn thing after I knocked them down. So they got caught on fire and died anyway Or the times where you sneak up from behind, knock them down, only to watch them fall right into the campfire they were sitting in front of. Walls or cliffs are dangerous to since if you sneak up on them from behind it's a guarantee that they'll topple over
So now I try to do a more sideways approach instead of attacking them from behind. Seems to work most of the time.
I bought A Plague Tale: Innocence. Just haven't really had the time/energy to really play it. It looks really good though and I'm definitely curious how it will play out.
A nice little break sounds good. I hope it will be a good one, ladyaly.

I like to whistle them near to me from a hiding spot Worked well so far for me. And yes - some days away from home will do good. We go to visit Vienna with friends.

ladyaly : I've never been to Vienna myself, but I hear it's beautiful. My colleague goes on vacation to Austria almost every year. And usually he always brings me something from there when he returns awww Yup, whistling to distract them is a favorite tactic for me as well. But if possible sneaking up on them is fun. Though lately I've been getting a little bit bolder and just rush into some and knock them down lol Finished the latest Lost Tale of Greece episode, which is titled: "One Really, Really Bad Day." And boy, what a bad day it was. Murphy really gave poor Kassandra a hard time. It wasn't very challenging one, but it has some pretty funny moments, which put it in my top 3 of Lost Tales. One misthios having a really bad day: Poor Kass looking like she's about to burst into tears Might be fun to post your current favourite Lost Tales. Mine: 1. A Friend Worth Dying For 2. One Really, Really Bad Day 3. The Daughters of Lalaia

Heh that last picture I posted is kinda like how I felt at work today. And my cat's been a bit under the weather the last 2 days, puking his little guts out. So the first thing I had to do when getting home from work was cleaning up the mess. Poor thing

He seems to be better now. He'd only been peeing the last few days, so I think he suffered from a little bit of obstipation, which may have been caused by a hairball. He's been shedding quite a bit of hair the last week or so, so it seems plausible.
I'm really grateful he only puked on the laminate flooring and not the doormat or furniture. Just remembered that I picked him up from my grandma's apartment 3 years ago today. He was such a different cat back then!
