Tup : Here's to hoping you're having fun. Oh and I agree with ladyaly : Pick Kassandra The photo mode is nice indeed. Although I wish there was a way of disabling the screenshots from appearing on the map. Also they're not only your photos appearing on there. There are screenshots made by others too. It seems there are only a limited number of screenshot markers on the map, but I'm worried they might be a bit cluttering if they're near a marker of another point of interest? I use the Steam overlay instead. The in game screenshot tool saves them in piss poor quality jpgs. Uplay overlay at least allows you to save the as pngs too. It would be great if Steam overlay would only save the lossless copies instead of also saving the jpg junk for possible uploading.
I just had to try this....
I think this is a mixture of Elder Scrolls (Skyrim especially), Assasin's Creed and Mass Effect.

its the manuel save. The quick save seems not having a limit ( F5 ) But I think its still a bit less.
EDIT So I just saved Nr. 21 - either they increased it already or it was always more then 20

Odd... I get a message: "Cannot save at this time - maximum numbers of saves reached. Overwrite or delete an existing save to proceed." I haven't tried using quick save.
Edit: so I hoped it had to do something with having cloud saving enabled in Uplay, but sadly no change.

Generally speaking I usually only use like two saves (the second one is for backup purposes) and quick save. So, I never run into max save game limits. So........ While I appreciate the though behind hiring mostly Greek actors for this I think that logic is flawed in practice. Let's just imagine that Assasin's Creed Sampo that relies on Finnish mythology. Now who would like really like to hear Finnish people speak English with Finnish accent? That would not only sound bad but also weird, because they would sound like foreigners in their own country. At least here in Finland when things get dubbed that wouldn't be the case (because the whole point is that they are talking properly in their native language and you want to mimic that, in Finnish). I actually immediately the game with Japanese voices and texts (to avoid the above dilemma and because I want some practice). Immediately noticed the Leonidas and Kassandra voice actors. Kassandra's voice actor is Miyuki Sawashiro (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1328076/) actually Risa Shimizu (does sound quite similar though but not even close as popular though). Quite honestly pretty damn good choice - she does a great job. Leonidas is voiced my Jōji Nakata (https://www.imdb.com/name/nm0620124/), popular too. Both are pros so obviously the quality is there. No idea who's doing Phoibe but she does hands down better job than the one in the English version. Going through the YouTube videos Phoibe voice doesn't match her looks (age) at all. But anyway, I haven't made much progression yet - doing some side quests. Rescued Phoibe though. It'd nice that you can do things multiple ways. Also it's funny... this is in a way more BioWare like game than Mass Effect: Andromeda.

Personally I wouldn’t mind it if they spoke English with a Finnish accent. But I suppose I can see your point about it being weird for Finnish people. Ideally the game should be in Greek, but since the majority of people who play the game aren’t Greek and have no knowledge of it, they’d have to depend on dubbing and/or subtitles. And since I personally absolutely hate dubbing and find that subtitles can be distracting sometimes the Greek accent at least gives me a semblance of the game being set in Greece. To illustrate it further: recently I watched the Danish/Swedish TV series The Bridge on Netflix (very good show btw) Anyway, the spoken language on that show is both Danish and Swedish and while I can sometimes make out a few words I heavily depend on the subtitles. But since the subtitles distract me and my brain constantly tries to figure out if it can make out any words I sometimes loose “sight” of what is happening in a scene, which made me have to rewind sometimes. Another thing: we use subtitles here in the Netherlands for programs that are in a different language. A while ago some highly educated nitwit suggested that it would be better to have programs dubbed. So on national TV they showed a German TV show that was dubbed in Dutch. I didn’t see it myself, thankfully, but most people thought it was horrible heh. Completed 3 episodes now btw. Damn this story is so good

I can see your point Tup . But I wont play a game in german since the voice actors are horrible in the most games. English is the language I feel good with and I also wont use subtitles. In my opinion they did a pretty good job to give you a feeling of ancient greece with the voices and words they are using. I wonder if japanese not collides with the appearance of this world and characters. Anyway - best is always to use the stuff you are comfortable with and enjoy something the most. GroundSquirrel I'm still not so far in the game yet, but this story is so well written. I am already excited what the content of the season passes will offer to it

Animation that are rated for all ages are bit different though, since little kids can't read. Like Lion King for example. Dubbing just doesn't work for live action things. Games can adapt to whatever language though (so it comes down to who does the best job).
But anyway, the thing with Assassin's Creed is that Animus should handle the translation/simulation so that it shouldn't even be a problem.
I'll switch to English UI just to make life a bit easier (I'll keep the JP subs though). It's quite nice how flexible the language options are.

ladyaly : Part of me wants to just continue with the main story, but thankfully a bigger part of me doesn't want to rush things and just enjoy every little part of the game

ladyaly : Part of me wants to just continue with the main story, but thankfully a bigger part of me doesn't want to rush things and just enjoy every little part of the game I just keep looking the map and think that this is probably ridiculously massive game. Definitely not a bad thing. Also this is the kind of game that I like (well, I've always liked Assasin's Creed but the changes and additions aren't bad in this - conversations and choices are a big plus).
Recorded the final conversation between Markos and Kassandra in An Eye for an Eye quest. Shows the VA performance pretty well. Actually noticed that the JP dialogue has differences here and there. It's not a 1:1 translation, which is a good thing.
I can't help it but think Markos as a garden gnome... I also do prefer the Japanese Markos voice actor. Just... Feels right for that kind of guy (does a nice job too). Kinda adorable yet so unreliable.

Tup : The video's not accessible for me either ladyaly : are you just randomly visiting islands? Or just the ones where the main quest or a side quest sends you? I did stop on a little island with some kind of temple on the way to Megaris. I still need to go back there, because part of it only seems to become accessible later? I don't want to do to much exploring for fear of ending a side quest before even starting it yet though. What do you all think of the Bounty Hunter system. Personally, I think it's kinda nice to have the option to pay them off instead of having to take them on. Especially if there are multiple who are making things difficult for you.
