GroundSquirrel Kassandra putting the "eye" in the goats ass? Found out in practice that it's a good idea to hunt some goats once you visit Kephalonia again... ladyaly I let him go.

putting the eye in a goats ass was so funny I let the Wolf go as well. I'm not sure if Kass is seeing him again - I doubt it.

I kinda feel bad for the goat though...

The aluminium prints arrived! Surprisingly fast too They look fantastic! There's a particular shine to them that makes them really stand out. No regrets ordering them.
My dad was kind enough to come over and help me hang them
The photos doesn't really do them justice, but here they are:

Those do look rather nice. Looks like you're not a headphone user. Elpenor got what he deserved... That was one creepy guy. Been doing side quest before advancing further. Ranged combat is a bit... The hit boxes are really weird. It misses way too many times when it just plain and simple shouldn't. ^^Poked a bit that merc and obviously she attacked... Managed to recruit her and got legendary spear.
Rather impressive view distance.

GroundSquirrel Very nice - looks pretty good Tup this Elpenor guy gave me the creeps, too. About ranged combat - I use only 1 or 2 abilties for poking - I love to assassinate the guys with the spear abilitiy. That skill tree is far more successfully then the hunter ones - imo

Tup : What makes you think I'm not a headphone user? I wish I could have just ignored Elpenor, but I guess that would have made the game quite boring. I wonder how you managed to recruit the merc, because usually once they start to attack it no longer seems possible for me. Unless I do some damage first, run and hide and come back later to knock the merc down again. Nice screenshots again. I've been toying a bit with the graphic settings today, which caused the framerate to drop, but at least things seem to run smoothly. Might change them back to what they were. ladyaly : I haven't even tried assassinating people with that spear ability. I really should give that a try. I'm at level 28 and about halfway through the main story now. Went from Athens to Argolis, then to Korinth and back to Athens again. Now on the way to Naxos (why do I have a craving for nachos now?). This game really is a hell of a ride Sweet, sweet Ikaros...It's best not to upset Kassandra...The weather's pretty crappy in Athens today...Cute dolphin. I love that you can even hear them under water.

I love that you can even hear them under water. Well, if you were a headphone user (now I mean a person who primarily uses headphones) you'd likely have them on your desk and no speakers. No dac/amp or dac& combo either (well, okay, I use Creative AE-5 as amp and dac because O2 turned out to be inferior amp). I don't even have speakers but I absolutely love my Sennheiser HD 6XX. I'd have to put over four digit amount of € to get comparable or better audio quality from stereo speaker setup. Personally I prefer open back headphones to speakers.
I'll just beat them when they are nearly dead, then just spartan kick them. Whole merc system is pretty much a rip of from Shadow of War's nemesis system. Not quite as good and deep but rather similar.
Nice shots! Personally I'll just max it all out. Runs well enough. Not quite solid 75fps but high enough. Seems to be rather CPU heavy game too. Even though my poor i7-3770K is running at 4,4 GHz it's still bottleneck at times.
I'm lvl 15 or 14 at the moment and I've soon done exploring this area (I'm terrible at remembering place names in this game).
Killing the boar was quite annoying. Arrows often just flew right through the thing without making any damage... In the end I pretty much killed it with few powerful ranged (using that one skill that I don't remember) shots.

Tup : My headphones are placed on top of my PC case, so it is close by. I don't have a stereo on this floor, so I find the speakers still handy when I'm doing some cleaning and I want to listen to music. Wouldn't get very far cleaning with the headphones on lol LOL if I put everything on its max I get like a 9 fps frame rate. Had the game running at about 60 fps and upped the settings for fog, water, clouds and terrain a bit more, which caused a small drop in frame rate, but as long as the game still runs smoothly I don't really care about that. Only odd thing I found was that in the cutscenes I recorded whenever the point of view changed the previous frame would still shine through. Hmmm... Ah yeah, that boar was pretty annoying. It was way too much to handle when I encountered it for the first time, so I had to leave it be and went back later when I'd leveled up a bit more. Nice shots. I particularly like the one with that fallen statue. Btw I need to put a box of kleenex on standby. Some scenes in this game are so well written. Dammit, if they fleshed out the romances in this game like that it would topple BW games hands down. Also compared one scene with the Alexios version of that scene, but the expressions in the Kassandra version have so much more emotion behind it... A real credit to her VA.

I did approximately the same as GroundSquirrel and the game runs smoothly. I agree with you about the romances and stuff, sometimes l just watch the dialogues with baited breath... Tup that is why I gave up the Bow/Hunter skill mostly. I got finally a legendary Armor set that fits my assassinate/warrior style for her perfect. Its the Amazon Set. You shots are nice as always and my favorite is Nr. 1. I just love Kassandra's face and how she looks at some points. So much life in it !

Recently I've been doing my best to achieve the best audio quality so I use headphones exclusively. Can't stand trash audio any more. Though, in some cases decent bluetooth speaker could be handy. 9 fps? You do have the same GPU as I do right and the CPU should be more or less the same? I've obviously overclocked my stuff but still. Mine averages around 60 fps everything maxed out and driver forced 16x af on top. Are you sure your didn't accidentally but the resolution scale slider above 100%? Latest drivers?
Generally speaking AC games have been written quite well. The stories have been interesting. This one doesn't disappoint either and is areally good game. In terms of everything this kinda highlights how flawed game ME: A was in various ways. It would have needed two years more development time.
Gotta say one thing though... The gap between the Japanese Alexios and the English one is rather big. IMO at least.
Nice! You know... When I see a statue I for some reason get the urge to climb on it. I'll try to get a decent looking set too... I'm going to start hunting some lunatics now. The thing is, bow is quite handy but during combat it can be a bit weird. Games are starting to look so good that one could just make small pictures out of these and they would look good one wall. Just imagine how good the next Elder Scroll's game is going to look?

ladyaly : I've yet to find that Amazon set. Can it only be looted or is it also available from Merchants? Nice looking bow btw. Which one is that? Tup : When I'm cleaning I'm not really that bothered about superb audio quality. Wouldn't even notice it if I'm in the nex room either. It's just nice to have some music in the background. Sound's pretty decent for a free pair of speakers and subwoofer from Dell.
Only annoying thing when using headphones is that it secludes you from the rest of the world. Still handy when you don't want to listen to the cat's meowing lol
I do have the latest driver for my GPU. I ran a benchmark test which shows my current settings. As you can see the average frame rate is 56 FPS with these settings.
I guess in present times climbing on top of statues would be considered vandalism

GroundSquirrel I got most pieces from killing cult members - I think it is the heroe Branch The Bow is also a legendary called the *Fanged Bow*. You can grab it on Naxos in the Cave of Mt. Zas. There is a fight but the Bow is in the treasure chest behind the statue I got it very early and did stay with him. Tup I can't resist a statue - I MUST climb them also Kass + Ikaros =

ladyaly: Funny... I did go to that cave and I totally missed that particular bow is now in my inventory lol Guess sometimes there are too many things looted to keep track of it. Probably because I'm a bit of a hoarder too. Thankfully this game lets you store quite a few things in your inventory too. And then there's the chest on the ship Btw cute things about Ikaros that I only noticed last night and today: * You can have Ikaros harass enemies * Ikaros helps attack enemies when you've boarded a ship Also came across two side quests that were related to actions I took earlier in the game. Minor, but it's refreshing to see that even those actions have certain consequences

GroundSquirrel yes - this is what I really really appreciate. The things you do have consequences. I am a hamster, too = so I tend to recycle the most grey blue and purple stuff for ressources. Btw = Kassandra misses still the Helmet from the Amazon Set. I start to wonder what will happen to Deimos/Alexios- I guess it will be kill or re-unite in the end. And I am so curios who the Master Cultist is. Ikaros is a nice helper indeed. I harass also big guys in forts with him Got a nice shot with Phobos = Nightride
