The other day I finished the second DLC of Assassin's Creed Origins, The Curse of the Pharaohs. Since I'm guessing that I completed the main story and there are only side quests left to do I took a break from it, so that I could play the final Lost Tales episode. I'll only say a few things about it without spoiling anything: I expected more from it, but it ended up being rather disappointing To me it felt like it was too short (then of course everything is lol), but still... I kinda feel like it was rushed. The tale is named Sokrates' Trial. A bit more Sokrates would have been fun... There were a few moments I could appreciate, but nowhere near enough for this Lost Tale to even make it to my top 10. Some more of my Origins screenshots:

ladyaly : Welcome home I'm glad your vacation was relaxing. I'm sorry to read about your car not starting anymore though I guess it wanted to relax a little too huh? I hope it's something that can easily be fixed and nothing too expensive. I've had a bit of time off as well. Apart from a few day trips and a few restaurant dinners with my family I didn't really do an awful lot. I tried to relax and caught up with the household tasks I'd been neglecting heh. And of course I finished Origins. Oooo I did go for a job interview btw. It went pretty bad, but from what I gathered during the interview I don't think I'd have said yes if they had offered me a job anyway, soin the end it's not really a disaster that it went bad heh.

Well -maybe he felt neglected! Anyway he decided to start on again after help from the Automobil Club. A minor electronic problem. I hope you enjoyed your free time About the Job Interview is my guessing it was destiny that it went bad Be glad it wasn't your dream job

I'm glad that the car issue turned out to be something minor. Thank goodness for the Automobil Club eh? It's funny. I hadn't been a member of the Dutch equivalent of your Automobil Club for many years. I figured I could always join as soon as there actually was a problem with my car. It would have costed extra, but all those years of not paying the subscription would probably make up for that. But when I was planning a trip to England with my car I decided it might be a good idea to become a member. You know... just in case... Only 2 weeks after I joined my car started having hiccups and I had to call them Hmmm... if my destiny is to be forever stuck at the madhouse it's not very hopeful lol

mmmhhh - I see and can understand. But I'm sure you'll get the chance for a new interview in another company I just finished the last tale btw .... and it felt strange. It was a distant thing I would say, not really even worth to play it. Also the reason why they wanted Sokrates dead or on trial is still hidden, or I missed it... Well ACO is at the end for me. There are some stuff I could play - *The Outer Worls* the new Obsidian game looks really good - BUT - its a first person game and I'm not really a fan of this kind of Game Play. I prefer third person gameplay. Also I wait how the word is after release for the new Jedi Game.

ladyaly: I suppose you didn't really miss it. Even Sokrates didn't know why they wanted to put him on trial. Although if I had to guess then it is probably because some people got tired of his ramblings It had a bit of humour in it, but that didn't save it for me. Still have that game with the rats to play. Btw that new The Last of Us game looks pretty cool too. Shame it's only for the Playstation.

As I mentioned in the Skyrim thread I'm replaying all the Lost Tales of Greece at the moment. While replaying A Brother's Seduction I came across another thing where a choice you made earlier in the game has some influence on how things work out later on. I really like seeing those instances Without too much spoiling... the way you deal with the Monger in Korinth changes one of the last cutscenes in this particular Lost Tale

As I mentioned in the Star Wars thread I am playing the horrible "Where did all of our choices go? DLC again. This time I'm going with the flow though, since I can't avoid it anyway. Still no fan of it though. A few more screenies: One of the side quests that came with the DLC is one where you rescue an older woman from a camp. She's concerned about some mercenaries ruining her favourite wine drinking view and used the F-word in the process.
The expression Kass gives is priceless
That eyebrow!
Some eerie looking sky
It was National Beach Clean Up Day in Greece. Kass certainly cleaned up her fair share of rubbish
One of those small little details in the game: a stone circle with some little figure in the middle. Some memorial I suppose, but I wonder what it really means.
Well, since we can't avoid it anyway, this is it then...

Nice shots - despite the DLC stuff it is a great game. The best in the AC series anyway. I am cured for trying others When I'm ready with the second playthrough of my Star Wars game ( just to make sure to see at least 90 % of the places ) I'll go back to Skyrim. After that ... I really don't know.

I was hoping there'd be a nice Black Friday deal on Greedfall and there is: €32.99 instead of €49.99. But it's only for the frakking PlayStation
EDIT: Just noticed that Steam now has it on sale for €39.99...

And I just found that there is a 25% discount for the PC version of The Outer Worlds when buying from the Epic Game Store or Windows Store: €44.99 instead of €59.99. It can also be ordered from GameStop, but that website is blocked for me O_o

If I try and visit gamestop.com I get a page that says: "Access Denied - You don't have permission to access blah blah blah" gamestop.de works, but when I search for the PC version of The Outer Worlds there it is only available for preorder - release date unknown. The Epic Game Store forces you to register and I really don't want yet another registration. So only the Windows Store is still an option
