Well, there is a journal where you can view the quests and (character) sidequests that are open and those you have completed, so you can at least keep track of what you've done so far and what needs to be done. But it'd be nice to know if I'm near the end of the game or not I suppose. Nice to know I'm not the only person who misses something like that. Still, the reviews on Steam are still very positive. Btw maybe it's actually nice to not know. Then you can't go: "Crap! Only 5% of the game left to play! It'll all be over soon!" Was notified that GOG.com currently has a 25% discount on GreedFall. And A Plague Tale: Innocence is currently 50% off. Read rumours about a sequel to this game too. Interesting

I guess A Plague Tale was rather a success - so I would count on a sequel.
mmmh... might be true if you enjoy the game

Well, I made some more progress, but not enough to finish the game. Trying to finish the last two companion sidequests before moving on with the main story. The companion sidequests are made up of a number of other quests that are chained. For instance: Companion A needs to have something done and in order to accomplish that you need to talk to an NPC. And this NPC obviously won't help you unless you help him/her first. Sometimes the way these sidequests can be handled make you lose your standing with some of the factions in the game. You might be helping the natives on the island with something and piss off colonist factions by doing so. A few more screenshots: Now that is some weird creature...
One of Aphra without headwear. Gotta love her hairstyle.
In other news I've started my Amazon Prime Free Trial, so I can watch Season 4 of The Expanse. I should say I'm glad I can at least watch that.
A lot of other titles they offer, that would interest me are "Not Available in My Location". If they aren't why even list them hmmm? Great way to put off any potential paying customers lol

LOL - very nice bussiness plan for the future .. pffft.
Aphra is beautiful - dunno what it is - but I like her very much. The characters in this game looking anyway good.

Finished all of the companion sidequests. Only the main story left now, so I guess this will all be over soon?
I suppose I forgot to mention that Aphra is a scientist, but apart from that she is also very interested in the culture of the native people.
I suppose that one thing I miss in this game is interaction between companions. There is some, during certain moments in the game, but I wish there'd be more interaction between thim in those moments where you're running around exploring. Kinda like the banter you had between squadmates in Mass Effect.

Well, my playthroughs generally last longer since I record some of the cutscenes to get screenshots, but sometimes the lighting sucks so then I go back and forth sometimes to record it again with hopefully better lighting. Then there's the camera tool that takes up some extra time. But mostly I get distracted by my cat who lately has made it his mission to sit right in front of my keyboard when I'm playing games
Or this:
Hmmm... Vasco already had tattoos in the earlier screenshot I posted and you called him handsome then... So the new tattoos are a bit over the top you think?

After 101 hours I finally finished Greedfall. A good start to the new year no doubt I thought that the ending I got was satisfying. It didn't leave me with the feeling I got from ME3's ending heh. I guess the end sequence may be slightly different depending on whether you helped your companions or not. The boss fights weren't overly difficult (on easy) and the game never really got to the point of being frustrating (despite the weird controls), which is good enough for me. I suppose I agree with the 8/10 score the game got in a number of reviews.
Getting near the end, so it's all looking dark and gloomy...

So am I. It would have been a bit of a waste otherwise.
Now I wonder what to play next... Still no The Outer Worlds. Maybe try and see if I can continue my playthrough of The Witcher 3?

Its so worth it - all 3 of them and also the DLC's. If you can get it to run properly I can only suggest to play it.

The game carked on me a short while after the battle at Kaer Morhen. At that point I didn't fancy replaying that whole bit, since it was a bit of a pain heh.
