Apparently it on Finnish Netflix too. I should try Netflix at some point since the Amazon Prime is a bit... meh.
Currently (still) going through winter season backlog. Currently marathoning through 宇宙よりも遠い場所/A Place Further Than the Universe and I must say that it's really good slice of life anime. Sweet, visually beautiful and makes you feel good. Sometimes you can tell instantly that something is special and clearly above the bulk - this is one of those.

If it wasn't for my sister I probably wouldn't even have Netflix. She already had the subscription and asked if I was interested in it too, since it allows you to have multiple profiles. And it is convenient since you can share the costs. Now my mom's also using it, so now we're paying less than €5 a month for a premium subscription with Ultra HD quality when available, which is pretty sweet Hmmm... 2nd season of 12 Monkeys is also available on Netflix now. Cool show dealing with time travel.

I currently have three subs ongoing but it's <4 € each. Amazon Prime Video for example is 2,99 € but when that special price ends I'll cancel and just resub when needed. I'll have yearly Crunchyroll sub which is 3,3325 €/month.
Speaking of Crunchyroll, A Place Further Than the Universe is streaming there. If you want to watch something that makes you feel better (regardless of age and gender) then I highly recommend checking it out.

I think one sub is enough for me. Don't have time to keep track of everything anyway.

I'll probably try rotating between, say, Netflix and Amazon. If you do not have backlog then it hardly makes sense to keep active sub while the season is ongoing. I hate waiting next episode so I'll usually just watch all episodes as quickly as possible. Also Netflix isn't exactly cheap when compared to, say, Crunchyroll sub which basically nothing (sure, Netflix is supposed to cover it all but in practice that's not the case). Also it's annoying that there isn't one streaming service to rule 'em all. Some service grabs licence for x in y territory and so on (or produces show for that said service). It good to makes use of all those free trials though! Amazon has that dirt cheap promotion too when you first sub. Finished watching the A Place Further Than the Universe. What can I say... Simply beautiful and heart warming. Close to perfection.

Depends on your definition of cheap. Personally I don't think €5 is that bad. And Netflix has enough content that I like. Oh and this year my sis said she'd pay for the whole subscription, so I'm basically watching for free now heh

I'm speaking from my point of view. It would be 10,99 €/month, 13,99 € with 4K streams. Sure, that would be less than 0,something of my monthly salary but I'm pretty stingy...

Yeah understood. That is why it's great if you can share the subscription with a number of people. Even if you live in different parts of the country.

Violet Evergarden on Netflix may be interesting... and judging by review and ratings it's a good one. The studio behind it has made great stuff before.

Sweet...
By the way, EU roaming is rather sweet now. No restrictions or extra prices for sms and calls. I have unlimited mobile data in Finland but 10GB monthly roaming data isn't too bad. Another interesting thing is that even though I'm now in Spain, all sites (streaming, Google etc.) think that I'm in Finland. Quite handy since it means no geoblock and I can access local stuff.

Bit ironic that next week (the weekend at least) is supposed to be warmer (23c!!!) in Finland.

Hmmm yeah really great that there are no extra charges now for roaming within the EU. That really helps since I'm abroad so very often.
And I'm sure it will help offset the extra taxes I'll be paying since the Eternal Utopia wants to raise their budget O_o

Looks like the yearly European crap song contest is about to start...

Is it? Our prime minister is acting all outraged now, which generally means that they'll do exactly the opposite.
Ah yeah, definitely one thing I won't be watching.
