GroundSquirrel What did Kass do that he tried to kill her? ? My Kass did fight alongside him after Kyra mentioned there was an ally on the beach ... And so the romance began

ladyaly : well, in my first playthrough Kass kinda stole his girlfriend And even though she did help out Thaletas as much as she could by fighting alongside him on the beach, destroying those Athenian ships and retrieving his father's helmet from the shipwreck he still wanted to kill her when he found out about her romantic night on the beach with Kyra
For some reason I missed the whole Thaletas romance path in my first playthrough, but then I missed more things during that one. Like Barnabas and his new girlfriend

Awwww that's too bad. Or maybe not, because, unlike me, you can at least can still look forward to the latest Lost Tale. I just rushed through it all and now it's over *sobs* Well, maybe not rushed, because I did go back and see what impact various dialogue options had heh. Was browsing YouTube a little for some AC Odyssey stuff last night and came across this little video: I didn't see this scene in any of my playthroughs, so I hope it's not another thing that I missed... I suppose it was only used as a demo for E3, which is sad because I find it rather funny.

I've been running around on Lemnos and Thassos to play the Tough Love side quest (Mikkos). And yet again I manage to find (little) things that I missed in my first playthrough Spoilers maybe... * If you tell the Olympic trainer from the School of Hard Knocks side quest, Euthymos, to stand up for himself you'll later find him and some of his students at the ancient stronghold where you have to kill all those cult guards. Doesn't seem like they're of much help though. All they do is stand near a guard and if the guard moves they follow him around? * At the vineyard where you have to destroy the exotic wines you can run into Mikkos again to have some "fun" I find him rather pushy and annoying so my Kass told him off *Also at the end of the quest you'll run into pushy Mikkos again. However, if you've recruited Roxana for your ship earlier he won't be bothering Kass anymore and it's Roxana doing the talking. I'm not sure it plays out this way if you didn't romance Roxana before though. Some more random Photomode screenies: Gotta love the lens flare I'm sure Kass could always become a farmer...Sightseeing on Melos before the Battle of One Hundred Hands. And a couple of B&W shots

ladyaly It’s not my favourite Lost Tale either, but I wasn’t entirely disappointed. What made it disappointing for you? Spoiler tags once again: I suppose it may have been disappointing that the old flame wasn’t someone we were able to romance in the game earlier, but I guess that might have been problematic in some cases. On the other hand I thought it was nice that it was someone from Kassandra’s past on Kephallonia. I loved the few references to that time and it made me wish there were more of those, but alas I wish they’d have used a less generic face for Anais though, because I swear that last night Kass ran into one of her clones on Kos Ubisoft did learn their lesson from the Legacy of the First Blade DLC debacle. At least it was possible to not be forced into a romantic relationship this time. I thought the most disappointing thing of this Lost Tale was the choice in the end. Or lack of a choice, because whatever you choose the outcome is always the same. This Lost Tale would have been nice to save till the end of your playthrough and then you could have your Kass or Alexios make the decision to settle down (for a while at least). Or they could have decided to keep adventuring.

Not sure - its the first I didn't get any connection. Maybe about the generic appearance, too. And I feeled forced here - I would say they didn't learn it proper enough. I would have liked to cancel any hope of a partnership by Kassandra.

Hmmm... While I pretty much went back and forth with my saves in this Lost Tale to see what the different outcomes were I eventually ended up playing it as if Kass met her old friend from Kephallonia. Nothing more. At least here it was possible to do just that. I would have liked it if they'd at least given the option to stick around, just for those who would like to see Kass settle down.
EDIT: Another thing I never noticed before: I was investigating the Mycenaean Tomb of Ajax on Salamis and at the point when the night turned into day Kass yawns and says something like "Another sleepless night." Sounds like the poor thing is quite an insomniac

Well, the Odyssey isn't over for me yet. I still have lots of things to do in my current run. Deal with the remaining cultists, play all the Lost Tales again and the DLC's. Although I'm not sure if I want to go through that whole fight with Hades again But last night I played AC Origins for about an hour. I wanted to see some pyramids! Sadly there are already some things that annoy me heh. To name a few: * I miss the RPG element that Odyssey has. * I really don't like that I can't save my progress. It's annoying because sometimes I just want replay a certain part or watch a cutscene again. I suppose my English is decent enough, but there are still times where I'm like: "Hold on! What did they just say?" I suppose I could turn on the subtitles, but I hate playing with those turned on. * I miss playing as a female character... I know, I know... I'll grin and bear it... * After playing for about an hour there are things that are still a mystery to me. I know you don't want to reveal everything, but the way this is playing out the story so far seems less "gripping" to me. AC Odyssey had that mystery thing too, but to me the story was much more gripping from the start. It felt more dramatic somehow.
I know you don't have a lot of time to play, but is there anything new you're playing now, ladyaly ?

Reminds me spontaneous as I played AC III remastered. Such annoying stuff around. Its deleted now and I never touched another AC game - even if I own Origins and another I can't remember the name ;P I still play a bit of ESO and some times SWTOR. There is a new expansion coming out in September and since I have a lot of characters ( and I mean really a lot ) I level some of them up. With the new expansion you should be able to play finally Nautolans

You'll have something to look forward to then, ladyaly . And you won't have to wait that much longer too Managed to capture this lovely sunset image yesterday. I like that it has the statue of Poseidon in it and that you can even make out the statue of Lightning Zeus on Kephallonia in the distance
