Yes, sadly Seven Seconds is a very topical matter. Only 2 more episodes to watch of Seven Seconds. Heh the other day I fell asleep during episode 4 and woke up 4 hours later. And no, it wasn't because the show was starting to get boring. Blame the early shifts and the lack of sleep. Or maybe I'm just getting old. Guessing you're almost done then now, Tup . Lol. To I've never experienced anything like that yet. I did say nice nice chapters and I have no idea where I pulled that... Now at chapter 10. This should be the last. Oh boy there was some disturbing stuff that wasn't in the animation... Not sure if things could have been different with different choices but didn't see that coming... I know what the two out of three remaining endings are but the third? Also there are quite a bit of achievements locked still.

I finished it. However, this was a failure. I didn't get the true ending. Honestly, currently it feels like in ME2 when you failed to make everyone loyal and someone died. I need to check a bit though... if I can easily fix this. Looks like I didn't quite get all the flags triggered... Gotta say though, story wise this is really good. Tear-jerking, emotional but also fun. There's a reason why it has so high Metacritic score and why the Steam reviews are overwhelmingly positive. It's been quite some time when I player something as good. EDIT: I think I got it... Had to redo everything since chapter 5 though but thanks to skip mode that didn't take too long. Tomorrow I'm going to go through chapter 10 properly. EDIT2: Shit. Not enough. EDIT2: Shit that was a shock... Damn troll credits. I succeeded! Chapter 11! EDIT3: JES! It took actually 53 hours in total but I got the true ending. Now I'm satisfied.

Congrats for finishing it!
Watched the final episode of Seven Seconds last night. Overall a sad and realistic story.

I want to play the Steins;Gate 0 too and maybe even finish it first before watching the upcoming anime adaptation. The setting in that one is rather interesting... Because it's something that happened yet didn't really happen. It's rather complex thing but the things that happened in 0 made the ending in Steins;Gate possible. Even though the things in 0 happened in the future. Hard to buy the PC version though...
I do prefer happy stories. The story itself may be bleak as long as it ends well. Not a massive fan of sad stories that end sadly (why would I deliberately make me feel sad/depressed?).

It's a crime/drama with the emphasis on drama. As it's such a depiction of reality, a happy ending wouldn't do this show justice. It would probably be a slap in the face of those who have to live with all that crap every day. As if their problems don't exist. So yeah, the ending is sad, but it fits the story and shows a major problem with society.
And yeah, it is rather depressing, but it's impossible to hide from everything that can make you feel sad or depressed.

Been watching Massage Detective Joe on Amazon lately. Honestly, it's shit but that's kinda the point. Also watching Attack on Titan - it's really good, for various reasons. Sawano's awesome soundtrack really helps to lift it on another level.

I guess never judge a TV show by its title applies.

Just finished the second season of Attack on Titan (first season had 25 ep, second 12 ep; there are some OVAs but those are disc exclusive). Third seasons airs later this year. Not sure if I can watch them weekly - cliffhanger after cliffhanger and extremely interesting.
Meanwhile... What the hell I am going to do now! *withdrawal symptoms*

Going to wait a bit. It's already available on Steam (came out today) but the English interface patch comes next week so I'll wait a bit for more user impressions. Might be decent fun actually. EDIT: Well, I bought it. By the way, I really wish that the would start already. I've had enough of this winter. At least days are getting longer (atm. about 6 minutes per day) which is nice.
